[Lars and Gail Norgren]

      Last fall, about Sept. 25, I saw
a mixed flock of swallows using an
up-draft immediately north of Banks
(Wash.Co.). A Cooper's Hawk appeared
and began spiraling upward with the
swallows, which ignored it, and vice
versa!
