One day at the Goshute Mountain Hawkwatch in NE Nevada I spied a large bird
far to the north heading south along the ridge. Soon there was also a
smaller blip appearing and disappearing that after a short period of
watching resolved into a smaller bird harassing the larger. Then a third
blip became apparent and shortly it resolved into an even smaller bird
harassing the next-size-up-bird. As this trio moved closer and eventually
passed by they turned out to be an: American Kestrel harassing a Cooper's
Hawk harassing a Ferruginous Hawk. That was a good start to the day.
