[obol] Small nest

News from a vineyard in Medford:

1) My pinot noir grapes are turning purple and I can again hear Western
tanagers "pddtt'ing" in the nearby trees.

2) I just found a little nest (inside diameter = 1 1/2 inches) in a
chardonnay vine. The nest is abandoned and there are no shell fragments. It
seems too large to be a hummer's nest. Other possibilities?
