[obol] No stint at FRR in afternoon

I spent from 12:30 to 3:00 at the Redhead Pond this afternoon, partly with
Dave Irons and partly with Mark Nikas. Other than one "maybe" that probably
turned into a paleface Least, we found no sign of the stint. I could never
relocate the "maybe" and there is an outside chance it was the real thing,
though I never saw leg color.

Present at the pond were maybe 150-200 peeps with small flocks coming and
going. Probably 80 percent Westerns. The rest Least except for at least
two Semi Sandpipers (a grayish one and a brownish one) which I got to see
right next to each other as I was leaving. At least two Baird's, a Pectoral
that flew off, a possible Sanderling that I saw at a distance and that
disappeared, both yellowlegs, one SB Dow, a Semi Plover, a Black-belly seen
before I got there, and killdeer. Also one ibis, a couple of V rails, a GBH
and two Green Herons, two Ring-billed Gulls plus the local peregrine that
made a pass through about every 45 minutes or so.

Sylvia Maulding is out there now at 3:30, and others may be there as the
afternoon wears on. Light is excellent there in the afternoon, but heat
distortion is an issue.
