[obol] Klamath Query

  I moved to Oregon from Pennsylvania several months ago.  Next week, a friend from PA--the director of volunteers at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary--is visiting Oregon, and I am accompanying her to the Klamath River area for two days of birding.
   
  I would appreciate any advice on the best places to bird at this time of year in that area.  It seems quite extensive and we do not have much time.
   
  In addition, I would appreciate any suggestions of a reasonably priced, clean, quiet, comfortable motel/inn that would be reasonably close to a prime early morning birding area.  We will be driving down from Salem via Crater Lake and may arrive fairly late the first night.
   
  Any advice from birders familiar with the area would be greatly appreciated!  You may reply off list if desired.
