Mark: I have been able to find the correspondence re: BUOW.  McNicholl 
writes:  "One of the most interesting band recoveries in my memory is of a 
Burrowing Owl banded at its nest in Texas this spring.  It deserted the nest 
and was found a few weeks later on  another nest - in Saskatchewan!"
He gives the name of the person who was going to write up this 2003 info for 
publication.
