Birding the new, exciting Basin & Range Birding Trail! The presentation will include a Slide Show and an Informative Talk followed by a question and answer period.
All Birders and Non-Birders Welcome

Guest Speaker:
David Draheim
Wildlife and Recreation Programs Lead
Bureau of Land Management
Lakeview District Office
1301 South G Street
Lakeview, OR 97630

Topic: David will be speaking on "THE BASIN AND RANGE BIRDING TRAIL". It is a collaborative project that has been in the works for the past two years with numerous participants. (Example: Lake County Chamber of Commerce, Craig and Marilyn Miller as consultants, other birding trail leaders, etc.) David will present a slide show, answer questions and have the Basin & Range Birding Trail map for people to see.
The Basin and Range Birding Trail is the third of up to eight different trails around Oregon. This trail will include all of Lake County and will extend into Northern California in Modoc County. Each birding trail will utilize existing highways and byways to link individual birding sites into driving tours featuring the diversity of bird species and habitats in the state.
Learn about these wonderful Birding Hotspots! If you like maps, if you like to bird, if you like to be social and come to very informative fun presentations - than you don't want to miss out on this!
