Still winter nights leave our
western valleys very cold and often
shrouded in fog. My house is on a
ridgetop well above the fog, and
the freezing temperature. This
morning's copious sunshine has inspired
the following species to sing, if only
briefly:
Raven
Song Sparrow
Northern Flicker
Brown Creeper
Hutton's Vireo
