Although I have not seen any for some time, a birder north of me in the
Sunny Valley area had a Siskin yesterday (12-01-06; 1st for this winter) in
Josephine Co.

A male (possibly with a female) LAWRENCE'S GOLDFINCH was seen (12-01-06)at
Valley of the Rogue S.P. (near I-5 exit 45a or b; Jackson Co) by Ralph
Browning.

Dennis (north of Grants Pass)

The first siskin I have seen this season arrived at my feeder, alone,
December 2. Also the first Lesser Goldfinch I have seen since September.
Lessers are usually the commoner goldfinch in winter; this year they are
late.
