The Lower Columbia Birders had a pleasant excursion today
under sunny skies, temperatures in the very low 40's and
east wind.

We found a noisy SWAMP SPARROW near the cyclone fence at
Wireless Rd.

A male LONG-TAILED DUCK was in the ocean off the South
Jetty of the Columbia. We also saw a BROWN PELICAN on the
river.
