[obol] Redpolls NO Polk Co. 12/02

I spent a good part of today looking for Redpolls in the Baskett Slough NWR 
area west of Salem. Nice day, and had nice looks at a PRAIRIE FALCON on the 
power poles along Livermore Rd., WHITE-TAILED KITE  hovering over the 
wetland restoration 1.4 miles north on Livermore from Smithfield, at least 5 
BALD EAGLES were below Coville Rd., and about 100 AMERICAN PIPITS were near 
the north part of Livermore Rd.  I saw 3 of the 6 NORTHERN SHRIKES that I 
reported 2 weeks ago and heard that 1 other had been seen (along Farmer Rd.) 
today, so at least 4 of the 6 are still around,

9 SNOW GEESE were near the Narrows along Coville Rd, and several groups of 
birders noted those.

I saw 2 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS near the north end of Livermore Rd
