[obol] Easiest bird not seen

The one I've been chasing for the past few years and always missing....is the American Avocet. It has been as close as Bandon Marsh and I walked around there for hours looking for it....only to come back home and read a post  on OBOL from Russ Namitz that he had been there at the same time and found it....I went as far as going to Arcata, CA when I read a post that there were 8 there a few months back....again...they didn't wait for me.....

but I was happy about seeing the Trumpeter Swans a few days ago....
