Eared Grebes have been regular at the Philomath Sewage Pond (Benton Co.) for
1-2 months now where I've seen 2-4 on each of my visits there.

Oddly enough, on yesterday's trip to the Newport area, I didn't see any
altho there were several dozen Western Grebes off Boiler Bay, Red-necked
Grebes at both Boiler Bay and South Jetty and a couple Horned Grebes by the
Marine Science Center.
