[obol] Asio Owls

I'm sure this won't help now but I saw four owls flying around  together near 
Page Springs Camp grounds a few years ago and one came right  at me passing 
low over my head at dusk and if I didn't see the black around the  eyes I still 
would be wondering which one I saw. The black broad mark on each  side showed 
me it was a Short-eared for the Long-eared has a black up ward  streak above 
the eye instead.  Dave Brown
