While joining Karan for lunch on her area for the Corvallis Christmas Bird Count, we spotted a raptor on the power pole at the
intersection of Brewster Lane on Decker Road, about 1/2 mile from its eastern end on Bellfountain Road at the Inavale School. This
is about 6 miles south of Corvallis. A male Northern Harrier was harrassing the perched GYRFALCON, which drew Karan's attention to
take a second look at this red-tailed sized bird. We got a better look at it as it flew off to a pole down the line.

We'd seen another vehicle stopped to look at a raptor earlier along Decker Road, but were unable to stop--with fog and regular log
truck traffic, even if this is not a heavily trafficked road, please use caution stopping to look at this bird. Look to use
scattered field access points which will at best get you off beyond the fog line.
