[obol] SWAMP SPARROW at Fern Ridge Reservoir

Paul Sherrell and I found a SWAMP SPARROW on Royal Avenue about 200 yards west of the gate.  The bird was very cooperative.  It stayed in the road for a few minutes giving us good views.  It was first seen in the tall dark weeds growing among the canary grass, at the point in the road where the water begins to flow across the Royal Avenue.

The water is about four inches deep in the shallowest places.  Boots would be helpful, if you are planning to go beyond the area where the SWAMP SPARROW was found.
