[obol] Northern Bobwhite in Canby

When I lived in Nyssa, on the Oregon-Idaho line, in 1969-70, Bobwhite were fairly regular in the ag lands of that area. The last time I heard one in that area was probably in the late 1980s, though I don't bird there much anymore. Gray Partridge were easy back then, too, and are now pretty hard for me to find. I don't think I have seen one on my last 3-4 trips to Malheur County.

A lot of the hedgerow country has been cleared completely off for clean farming, which makes life hard for chickens. If there are still any around, they are probably in less developed areas northwest of Brogan or south and west of Adrian. However, those are areas that I have been into in recent years, and have found neither species.
