[obol] Odd Black Oystercatcher Behavior (at least for me)

Maybe it was the spell of the La Di Da Parade in Yachats but there were 4 Black
Oystercatchers behaving oddly today...to me they seemed to be acting more like
Marbled Godwits. They were on the sandy beach just south of the Yachats State
Park where the Yachats River meets the ocean....right at the tideline probing
their long beaks deep into the liquid sand....maybe this isn't so odd but I've
personally never seen them do that...they always seem to be poking around on
the rocks, for which there is plenty of just north and south of this beach.
They showed up again about an hour later higher up on the same beach pecking
around on the dry sand.
