North Spit, Coos Bay, late PM:

1100- WESTERN SANDPIPERS
15- LEAST SANDPIPERS
at least one of each:
GREATER YELLOWLEGS
SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER
SEMIPALMATED PLOVER

also
500+ CALIFORNIA GULLS

and of local interest a first Coos breeding record:
a female GADWALL with 8 chicks, also saw a second
RING-NECKED DUCK with chicks.
