A few of you have suggested the possibility of the chicks having hatched
already and hiding in the crevice....very possible of course but the only
problem is I'm there often and have looked from multiple angles and can't
locate a chick...and neither can the volunteers or the rangers and
others....however, I feel a trip to the top of Salal Hill with a good scope in
my near future :-) I'll keep you posted.
