[obol] turkeys as a backyard bird

Hi all,
This morning I had a first encounter in my SW Corvallis backyard (45th
near Country Club Rd.) with a new species (new yard bird that is) - a
turkey hen and 4 half grown youngsters.  Development is so rampant in
the area now, even the quail and pheasants have disappeared, so it was
surprising to see such large birds.
