There has been quite a bit of discussion lately regarding the
potentially high heat of nest boxes. I am unsure if anyone has tried
this (other than myself), but find the following product (or others like
it) is amazingly superior to keeping nest boxes cool...
http://www.therm-a-shield.com/
I, of course, don't work for this company but their (and countless other
companies no doubt) product does work for me and keeps the boxes very
cool (can it ever be too cool?). It is non toxic so safe for use with
the animals and also adheres well to a bare wood surface.
If you have personal experience, please let me know... YMMV....
Hope you all have a good evening!
