[obol] Wed morning, Spencer's Butte

We took the (probably last) dry opportunity to climb Spencer's Butte (So.
Eugene) before mud.  The rains begin tonight.  The only birdlife on the bald
top was a flock of juncos.  We did have GRAY JAYS and a PYGMY OWL at about
the half-way point on the south-to-eastside trail.  The rest was in the flat
area near the start of the trail.  It was cold.

Pygmy Owl - 1

N. Flicker - 3

Crow - 13

GRAY JAY - 4 (reported in the area last Fri by DeWitt)

Black-capped Chickadee - 1

Golden-crowned Kinglet - 50+

Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 5

Brown Creeper - 1

Varied Thrush - 5

Hermit Thrush - 1

Spotted Towhee - 4

D-e Junco - 25

Fox Sparrow - 1

Song Sparrow - 10
