[obol] Florence Birds

I spent the morning birding in Florence today and found good numbers of sparrows, including Golden-crowned, White-crowned, Fox, Lincoln's, Song & Savannah and scores of Yellow-rumps on the dike to the deflation plain south of the south jetty.  At the south jetty I found 57 BROWN PELICANS, 1 HEERMAN'S GULL, 2 RED-NECKED GREBES and one rather late WANDERING TATTLER.  Scoters, gulls and cormorants were plentiful and 6 NORTHERN SHOVELER arrived with some scoter and sat on the ocean south of the south jetty.
