A few friends and I went to Sauvie Island this morning and had a great time
and picked up some great birds, especially for a quick morning trip.  Here's
a highlight list.  I'm a little shaky on exact locations but I can specify
if people are interested.  There were multitudes of shorebirds that were out
of my grasp due to weak optics and heat distortion.  I would highly suggest
people with better scopes to check out Sturgeon Lake.  My numbers here for
shorebirds don't do the numbers justice.
