Thanks all for the advice. The HY female wouldn't leave a small window up high - about 16 feet - even though I had closed the blinds on all the other windows. A friend came over, got up on the roof, and tapped on the window - a few circles around the living room, and OUT THE DOOR !!! Remind me not to leave my doors open, Karen Sharples Brush Prairie
