All "Blue" grouse in the Cascade range, both sides, are Sooty, as are those
east to the Warner Mtns.  All blues from the ochocos eastward in the Blue
Mtn complex are Dusky.

The new paperback Birds of Oregon modifies the map with a single diagonal
