[obol] Applegate R. banding day

Today (09-05-06) a total of 11 species, 18 individuals were captured at the Applegate River banding station (just west of Provolt, Josephine Co).  The list:

Pacific-slope Flycatcher (Western Flycatcher) - 1
Black-capped Chickadee - 5 (1 recap)
Brown Creeper - 1
Bewick's Wren - 1
Swainson's Thrush - 2
Wrentit - 2
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Yellow Warbler - 2
Western Tanager - 1 (molting to non-breeding season plumage, that Sooty look)
Spotted Towhee - 1
Lincoln's Sparrow - 1 (perhaps my earliest fall migrant here in 10 yrs)

Others seen at station:

1 LEWIS'S WOODPECKER, 1 BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER, a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT heard singing.
