Jim Langton and I spent the day up on Green Ridge NW of Sisters at the Hawk watch site. Migration movement was pretty slow with the following raptors seen.  7 Sharp shinned, 3 Cooper's, 4 Red-tailed hawks, 1 Merlin, and 9 Turkey Vultures. One of the highlights was having a juvi Turkey Vulture make several passes right over our heads,  I did take a shower this morning, but don't know about Jim.   It was really checking us out.  Another highlight was finding a fresh Mountain Lion track about 100 yards from our site.  Last year, Peter Lowe had a black bear walk through the site just a few feet from him.  I am sure there will be a lot more hawk action during the next few weeks.
