[obol] Bandon birds 9/23

Joe Metzler & I birded Bandon Marsh NWR this morning on a low tide.  I 
continued on alone and briefly birded the docks, duck pond & south jetty in 
Bandon.  The morning started off nicely with a vocalizing MERLIN chasing 
crows.  Partial species list and birds of note are as follows...

--Bandon marsh
1 Short-billed Dowitcher
1 Lesser Yellowlegs
15 Black-bellied Plover
1 AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER
400 Least Sandpiper
300 Western Sandpiper
1 Baird's Sandpiper

--old Coast Guard station
3 Wandering Tattlers
1 Ruddy Turnstone
30 Black Turnstone (not a single Surfbird)

--Duck pond
1 Pacific-slope Flycatcher (ok, it didn't vocalize so I'll call it a 
"Western")

--South Jetty
2 Black Oystercatchers (off note because I almost never see BLOY on jetties)
