Had two turkey vultures soaring over us on Stuart Island in the San Juan's on Sunday. On the return trip to Bellingham, spotted a flock of 33 loons, pacific loons, mostly males. Some females. Tried to snap a photo - but they dove down quickly. They were seen on the SW side of Lumi island. It was a beautiful day for bird watching.
