Even tho the blue elderberry shrubs are still loaded with fruit around 
Columbia County, Ore., I am starting to get Band-Tailed Pigeons at my 
feeders again.  So far in the last week or so it's up to 8, and I have 
gotten up to 40 at a time in the past.  They don't come to my yard in the 
summer.  Cool birds, but they go thru a lot of seeds.  Lona Pierce
