We had another pretty good day on Green Ridge today (Sat.).  There were 5 observers with lots of sunshine.  The day started out really slow for the first couple of hours.  around noon the winds started to pick up out of the west and so the bird numbers.  we ended up with 129 raptors as follows.  TV- 5; Osprey - 1; Bald eagle - 6; Sharp-shinned - 74; Cooper's - 14; Red-tails - 20; Am. Kestrel - 1; Golden eagle - 1; Merlin - 3; Unid Accip. -3

Insects as follows: Tortesshell - Hundreds & Monarchs some, mostly moving south; Lots of dragon flies moving East to West over the ridge.

Khanh will post the whole weekend results next Tue. or Wed. when he gets home.

I am off to Veracruz for 10 days of seeing lotsa raptors.
