[obol] Lane Coast EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE, 4/2/07

Greetings OBOLers,
At about 9am, on my way out to look for the previously reported Horned Puffin, I found an EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE drinking from a large puddle on S. Jetty Road (south of Florence), about 1/2 mile below the first ATV parking area. I marked the spot with orange surveyor's tape on a tree branch.

The bird flew up into dense pine/fir trees and disappeared from view. I was unable to relocate it upon my return about 11am.

The Horned Puffin was not relocated as of 1045 this am.
Bill and Zanah Stotz were still out there when I left.

Now, off to work!
