[obol] E. Collared-Dove/Tillamook Co.

Hello all,
We spent two days birding from the south jetty Columbia river down to 
Newport. Here are the hightlights:
Eurasian Collared-Dove - 1 in Neskowin at the corner of Breakers and 
Sheridan
Horned Puffin - 1at Ecola Friday am after 2 hours of scoping through the 
thousands of Murres, loons, grebes, etc. Also 1 dead Horned Puffin at sunset 
beach in Clatsop Co.
Sooty Shearwater - 1(yes only 1) at Ecola
Tufted Duck - great looks at the Lake Meares bird
Short-eared Owl - Cape Meares area
Enjoyed the Bonaparte's Gulls at several locations - many in breeding 
plumage
Black-legged Kittiwake - only 2
Palm Warbler - 1 behind Hatfield Science center
Whimbrel - 3 scoped from behind Hatfield

Cold and windy with rain Sat am but always fun to bird the coast!!
