[obol] concern about disturbance of nesting Western Screech Owl

Thank you to the many concerned folks who contacted me about the Screech Owl.  The agency in charge has been contacted and is going to take care of the flagging, which was not "official".  Several experts were in agreement that this is not a good time to be drawing attention to a nest, and that successful nesting is potentially at risk from this disturbance.  I am not disclosing the location of this nest.  I did not post on OBOL to draw additional attention to it. It appears that there is already enough human disturbance going on.  If you come across a nesting site that may fit this description, please do not linger in the area.
