Subject: [obol] cascade head tortoiseshells
I was on the Cascade Head grassy slope from about
11:30-12:30 today. There was a minor flight of California
Tortoiseshells, continuous 1-2/minute in view moving E/SE
apparently coming off the ocean.
Was very quiet bird-wise, grass still very short and
bulk of Savannah Sparrows not in yet - only heard 1.
Phil
