Walked loop from 11am-1:30pm w/Chris Fenner and John Notis.
Truly productive outing, with 46 species seen. Highlights included:
Chinese Goose (hey, it *looked* wild to us)
Ring-necked Pheasant (1 in distance, between SE lakes and Geiger Rd)
Wilson's Snipe (1, east edge of Dabbler's Marsh)
Dunlin (small flock, island in big lake east of Fernhill Lake)
Orange-growned Warbler (just east of Eagle's Perch Pond)
Tree Swallow (hundreds, all over)
Violet-green Swallow
Savannah Sparrow (path north side of Fernhill Lake)
Lincoln's Sparrow
American Goldfinch (flock along west edge of Eagle's Perch Pond)
If weather's at all decent tomorrow, should be great birding again! -r
