[obol] April 10: Ankeny NWR & Baskett Slough report

As a new resident to Portland I am enjoying exploring the area.

Jeff Gilligan and I spent the day looking at waterfowl and anything else visible at both Ankeny NWR and briefly stopped at Baskett Slough.

At Peregrine Pond at Ankeny we were pleased to see a nice male COMMON TEAL feeding with a group of  Green-winged Teal.  Close by was a male Yellow-headed Blackbird teed up in some reeds.

Around 2:30 PM at Baskett Slough we had a nice Ross's Goose from Coville Road.
