Here I sit at the 'puter again and again it's RAINING !

Even so a large flock of big BAND TAILED PIGEONS showed up at the feeders
and tipped over the tray which frightened them off.
I still have some lingering GOLDCROWN SPARROWS, A LINCOLIN SPARROW and a
confused HARRIS'S SPARROW showed up yesterday.
I think it's believes it's a GOLD CROWN SPARROW and will fly north when they
do.

The STARLINGS and HOUSE SPARROWS find my nest-box trap irresistible as they
keep getting trapped there.

Another regular visitor now are the EURASIAN COLLARED DOVES and BREWERS
BLACKBIRDS. A few WHITE CROWN SPARROWS and a single tan stripe morph
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW.

A ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD continues to guard it's feeder but the BLACK CAPPED and
CHESTNUT BACKED CHICKADEES continues to "steal " it's sugar water.

Bright yellow AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES are here as are a few PINE SISKINS,
PURPLE FINCHES and HOUSE FINCHES.
The TREE SWALLOWS are still waiting for "spring" to stop raining on their
nestbox.

My fruit trees are blooming but with a lack of honeybees, I'm having to hand
pollInate them so I'll have at least a little fruit to feed the ROBINS.
The honey bees have been dying off due to both varroa mites and a unknown
disease they call Colony Collapse Disease or CCD.
