Method: Up to eight 9m mist nets are placed in mixed Oregon
Crabapple/Twinberry/Spruce along the the upper Neawanna River,
Seaside, Clatsop Co. OR. Captured birds are measured, ringed
with USBBL numbered metal bands and released. Data on time of
capture and side of net captured are also recorded to gain

Notes: We broke our 1 day ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER capture record
this morning set back in 2003 (21 birds on 5 May). The Orange-
crowns were really moving today. We also caught WILSON'S WARBLERS
and COMMON YELLOWTHROATS and saw YELLOW-RUMPS and heard a single
BLACK-THROATED GRAY. Surprisingly, we heard and saw only a very
few sparrows.
