[obol] Eugene-River Road Raven + BY Birds

Hi OBOL,

Yesterday (4/28), we were working in the yard when I
heard a Raven gronking. I thought, oh, a Raven. Wait!
We don't have them here! Sure enough, there was a lone
Raven being mobbed by a murder of crows. Poor thing.
It couldn't roost, couldn't fly off...those crows were
just unmerciful. Things quieted down around evening,
we'll see if the Raven returns today.

On the backyard front: Orioles have returned! More
Black-headed Grosbeaks have arrived to keep the loner
company, Goldfinches are gloriously yellow, BC
Chickadees are sitting on eggs in a nest box ( I
think), Violet Green Swallows are swooping the yard
and maybe checking boxes out, Anna's and Rufous HB's
are buzzy little blurs and the House Finches are so
glad it's sunny and warm.
