OBOL and Klamath Basin birders,
Stopped for short time on Township Rd., west of Oregon Drain, where a permanent pasture on the south side was being flooded.
White-faced Ibis-85
Marbled Godwit- 1
Long-billed Curlew-9
Long-billed Dowitcher-10 (from a distance lower bellies appeared entirely orange; all calls were LBDO )
Greater Yellowlegs-11
Lesser Yellowlegs-2
The corner of Fugate and Lower Klamath Lake Rds was receiving water and may have shorebirds the next few days. White Lake is dry. Last week the water was too high at Miller Island. Wood River Wetlands may have exposed mudflats along the edges of Agency Lake.
Are there any shallow water locations that others have seen around the Basin that have shorebirds?
