Khanh Tran has resigned as the director of the Green Ridge Hawk Watch
project for the East Cascades Bird Conservancy.  The ECBC would like to
thank Khanh for all his great work and dedication.

The ECBC has selected Karen Sharples to replace Khanh.  We are very excited
that Karen has agreed to take on the administration of this project.  Her
experience and enthusiasm makes us very confident that this project will
continue to grow and prosper.


This fall, the Green Ridge Hawk Watch Project will begin its 3rd full year
of surveying migrating raptors north of Sisters, Oregon.  If you would like
to be involved in the hawk watch, please contact Karen and she will give you
details.  The count will occur on the last two weekends of September and the
first two weekends in October.
