Hi Obolers!

I wanted to thanked Chuck Gates and ECBC for giving me the wonderful
opportunity to serve as the ECBC migrating raptor director for two years in
a row. It was a very fun, rewarding, and an enriching experience. I had a
blast!

We had two successful and fun years with the Greenridge hawk migration
survey. I would like to take a moment to thank all the volunteers for their
generous time and contribution from fall of 2005 and 2006.

East Cascade Bird Conservancy has a fine caliber of generous individuals and
volunteers, whose passion, enthusiasm and generosity, is quite infectious.
I really think you have something very special and wish we had something
here in Portland with the same purpose and vision.

Besides having a great balance of talented, and skilled birders helping out
the beginners or recreational birders, the organzation's focus on local bird
conservancy is strongly evident through the many on-going project, year
round. This is why I support such a wonderful organization and cause.

I hope you will consider in taking part with one of the many projects to
help out.

A special thanks to the following volunteers:

Kim Boddie
Peter Low
Greg and Dana Boyce
John and Marlene Weber
William Proebsting
Steve Nord

in some sort of capacity.
