I have not noticed a decrease of Scrub Jays (or crows) in Eugene, either. Also saw plenty of Steller's Jays up on Mt. Pisgah last weekend.
West Nile doesn't appear to be very widespread in Oregon right now, although there are several reported human infections in California...

Hi Sarah and Bill and all other OBOLites,
I live on a farm 6 miles south of Hillsboro. I'm happy to say that the scrub
and Steller's jays are going strong out in the filbert orchard right now. Of
course, the filbert farmer isn't any too happy 'bout it...
