The White-tailed Ptarmigan only fooled a few. The Lincoln's Sparrow didn't 
present nearly the challenge as I thought.

But Photo Quiz 7 was the most difficult. All the field marks were clearly 
visible. The bird is very common. Yet only 3 birders were able to correctly 
identify it.

Don Roberson lists this bird as the most misidentified bird in Monterey 
County, California, but I argue that this bird is the most misidentified in 
the entire western US!

For Photo Quiz 8 I offer something easier. Maybe....
