[obol] ECBC annual picnic Aug 8th, Shevlin Park, 6 pm

Hi Obol birders:  This will be a really, really, really fun event!!  You do
not want to miss this!
The East Cascades Bird Conservancy people are fun and entertaining.  All you
birders on the west side of the Cascades should drive on over and have some
fun.  Shevlin Park is a beautiful spot not far from downtown Bend.  What
could be better?  Good food, good people and good birds!

Wednesday, August, 8th, 2007. 6 pm or earlier if you want to do that. 

Casual birding and a pot luck so come early or come late but don't miss the
fun.  Watch for a sign ( it could be upside down) for which way to turn off
Shevlin Park Road for the picnic. Tentatively located near the pond, so at
the north side of  the park. This is a very nice area and we always have a
nice time with a picnic and social time.  You do not need to be a member to
attend of course but one of us there might invite you to join. :>)  

There will be EXPERT birders on hand to help you identify any birds that
happen to be in Shevlin Park.  Bring us your identification questions,
questions on where to go birding in Central Oregon.
