OBOL,
Ventured up Stukel Mountain this morning, Monday, 6 August. Stukel Mountain, rising sharply above the Basin floor with a variety of upland habitats; is about 8 miles from Klamath Falls towards Merrill.
The following species had families, actively being fed or accompanied by adults, suggesting local breeding:

Purple Finch
Cassin's Finch
Lesser Goldfinch
Spotted Towhee
Western Wood Peewee
Mountain Chickadee
Pygmy Nuthatch

Bewick's Wren
House Wren
Rock Wren
Red-breasted Sapsucker
Bushtit
Others present but with not so obvious evidence of breeding:
