[obol] Mandarin - eclipse?

I'm not surprised to see an individual of the Mandarin Duck species living wild on our Kellogg Creek (Milwaukie, OR).. I had photographed a breeding-plumaged male last spring.. he sometimes stayed solely with a Wood Duck female.  But now I have a version I'm not sure of since my several field guides don't show eclipse or juvenile Mandarins.  I'm guessing this is the same adult male in eclipse form.  If anyone would care to verify/correct my guess, it would be appreciated.  I've put him as the top-most photo at:
